CBSE Training on Competency-Based Assessment

MDVM Literati engaged in a comprehensive two-days Competency-Based Assessment Workshop organized by CBSE on the 9th and 10th of August. The workshop was conducted by two eminent educationists, Ms Sarika Gaur, Principal of Subodh Public School, Sanganer, Jaipur, and Mr Gyan Prakash Singh, PGT at Birla Shishu Vihar, Pilani as resource persons.
The workshop aimed to enhance educators’ assessment skills, focusing on creating effective evaluation methods. It emphasized crafting well-designed questions to assess students’ understanding and competencies. The training also covered the development of Free Response Questions (FRQs) and Multiple-Choice Questions (MCQs), ensuring a wide range of cognitive skills.
The session wrapped up with a closing address by Principal Ms Niti Dhami, who honoured the resource persons with a plant as a token of gratitude. The workshop proved to be highly productive, offering educators valuable tools and strategies to enhance their assessment practices.
