Our Motto
A school’s motto ought to be one that is inspirational in ideology, easy to understand and assimilate as a guide-post through life. It should reflect the core promise of the school and be relevant at all times.
MDVM SCHOOL has a meaningful vision for its students. It recognizes the need to prepare children for the challenges of today’s world. What defines this ‘world’ most singularly, perhaps, is the absolute knowledge that it is a world of change.
MDVM SCHOOL‘S core purpose aims at shaping young adults who will be confident to take life’s challenges head-on – anywhere in the world.
‘Seize the day’ represents the attitude and conviction with which our students are enabled to face life.
Our Symbol
Our symbol affirms MDVM SCHOOL‘S commitment to nurture inventiveness in each child. Secure in the warmth of a caring school, symbolized by the inside star, a book with flower lotus – our students will be inspired to realise their full potential and aspire for excellence in all their endeavours.
Thinking of the Star, first of all, gives each of us the feeling that we are shining with light. Actually, shining beings – each of us. In this state we feel secure but free, and can be more loving, more accepting than other people.
Book is the initial and primary source of our knowledge.
Lotus flower has often been described as the most exquisite wishes of the Mother Nature for the mankind. The lingering fragrance of the lotus flowers holds the perfect potential of bringing a tender smile on anybody’s lips. The Lotus flower basically symbolizes the clarity of heart as well as the mind. In other words, the Lotus flower represents strength, good luck, long life as well as honour and respect.
Our Colours
Orange, Green, Red and Blue form of MDVM SCHOOL. Colours taken from the elements fit in with our approach to life and learning.
Our Houses
TILAK House: –
Orange, vibrant and charged with energy that we associate with childhood, symbolises a passion for learning and knowledge, for action of both mind and body.
AZAD House: –
Green brings to the mind the values of friendship and unity, of happiness that we must help to promote, the world over. It also reminds us that as individuals, we also belong to a larger group, the family of Man.
SUBHASH House: –
Blue symbolizes the gift of life, our strengths and talents, which we must develop and use to the full. It is therefore the colour of endeavour, of endless possibilities, of the sky being the limit!
TAGORE House: –
Red can symbolize ‘Love’. Basically red symbolizes strong emotions, or things of strong emotions rather than intellectual ideas. For example, red symbolizes excitement, energy, speed, strength, danger, passion, and aggression. Red also signifies the color of the sun: a symbol of energy, radiating its vitalizing life-force into human beings.
